Meta Language

Metalanguage is a special form of language – it not only describes, but also has an effect. In hypnosis, we use this language specifically to stimulate inner images, emotions and deeper understanding. It is less about pure information and more about a level of experience.
In our practice in Berlin – as well as in the online hypnosis sessions – we regularly use metalanguage to accompany clients into a trance. Stories, images and symbols help to reach the subconscious. Often it is metaphorical stories that guide the entire hypnosis session, opening up new perspectives, releasing inner blockages or stimulating self-healing powers.
This kind of language does not only appeal to the mind, but above all to the feelings, the inner experience – where change really begins.

What makes the metalanguage so effective in hypnosis?

Meta-language allows us to communicate at a deeper level – beyond evaluations or analyses. Through targeted images and formulations, the brain can break new ground, question old patterns and develop new inner orders.
Many people report after a hypnosis session that certain images or sentences resonate within them for a long time – sometimes they even have a conscious effect days or weeks later. This shows how powerful language can be when spoken from the heart.

Meta Language

Meta language is understood as the language used for explanations and descriptions. In hypnosis, it is regularly used to create the appropriate feelings and images in trance. This includes, among other things, metaphorical stories that guide you through an entire hypnosis, providing the desired access to the subconscious mind while helping to exert a positive influence on it.
