Generally, every person with healthy cognitive functioning can be hypnotized. What is important is good preparation for the session and willingness to engage in hypnosis. In terms of statistics, it can be said that only about 2 percent of people do not respond to hypnosis
Who is not hypnotizable?
People suffering from dementia (such as Alzheimer's disease), heart failure and acute psychotic states should not be hypnotized. What most people do not know is that every person is in a hypnotic state at least twice a day: shortly before falling asleep and shortly after waking up every person is in a state of trance.
