Hypnosis for Weight Loss
Lose Weight More Easily
More than half of the adults in Germany are overweight. In 2013, 62% of men and 43% of women were overweight. Being overweight can lead to numerous secondary diseases and conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Hypnotherapy can change unfavorable eating habits, help you lose weight and most importantly, to keep the weight off long-term. Since hypnosis accesses the subconscious mind, the goal of losing weight is firmly established consciously and subconsciously. At the same time, blockages that may have prevented you from losing weight or keeping the weight off are uncovered and dissolved. Through hypnotherapy, you can attain the weight at which you feel best in your own body and skin.

Emotional Eating - Symptoms
How to tell if you suffer from emotional eating
People who suffer from more kilos or being overweight often describe feeling unwell. Many of those affected describe not only physical effects and most would not attach the goal to a fixed number of kilograms. The vast majority of people are much more concerned with being able to feel good in their own bodies again and to achieve a change in their everyday lives in the long term. Hypnosis can help when it comes to emotional eating, when it comes to the fact that the grip on unhealthy food is almost described as uncontrolled and a kind of compulsion or addiction.

Obesity manifests itself in people through different symptoms and reactions on a physical and psychological level:
Physical Symptoms
Mostly there are physical symptoms, which develop insidiously but then can burden the whole organism: Increased load on the joints and spine, the lungs have to work harder, which can lead to a lack of oxygen. Snoring can affect the ability to concentrate and perform during the day. The heart also works more and in the long run this can cause heart failure. Too many kilos can also lead to a lower physical capacity and mobility, quick exhaustion, sluggishness and sweating.
Psychological Symptoms
On a psychological level, obesity is manifested by feeling uncomfortable in one's own body, low self-esteem and feelings of insecurity, the feeling of being excluded or not loved. Self-doubt, negative circling of thoughts, feelings of guilt "not having got it right again" can lead to depression. Other eating disorders are often observed in overweight, not infrequently emotional eating is used as a compensation to feel better again. But this is fatal, because the good feeling is only short-lived: remorse and reproaches quickly set in - a negative cycle begins that those affected find difficult to break alone.
Testimonial of a client about hypnosis for weight loss
In a great atmosphere, in a pleasant conversation, Isabella introduced me to a topic that was new to me, hypnosis. I have been trying for a long time to get a grip on my eating behavior, so far with little success. Through the warm and loving words Isabella has supported me to go one, my way. Already after the first hypnosis I had no need to stuff food into myself anymore..... I am just getting to know myself again.... and that is so beautiful. I highly recommend Isabella. Thank you very much.

Do I suffer from emotional eating and being overweight?
The following questions may be initial clues as to whether hypnosis can help you lose weight:
-
1
Do you often eat too fast or in a hurry? -
2
Do your cravings for food increase when you are bored, stressed, frustrated, angry or sad, or when you want to reward yourself? -
3
Do you have health problems due to being overweight? -
4
Do you sometimes lack the feeling of fullness and then eat too much? -
5
Do you wish you had more freedom of movement? -
6
Would you like to feel more comfortable in your body and more attractive again? -
7
Do you sometimes have the impression that you don't get enough, although you should have been full long ago?
If you can answer yes to one or more of these questions and feel restricted in your daily life or no longer comfortable in your body, you should seek medical or therapeutic advice. You may have a disordered eating pattern and be overweight. Please note that questions are always asked broadly, so it is possible that people who are not affected by obesity may also receive a positive result. Not everyone who once ate more suffers from obesity.

Overweight Population in Germany
More than half of the adult population in Germany was overweight in 2017. 16% of adolescents were overweight (including obesity) in Germany in 2014, and a full 3% of children under five were so in 2014. That's a body mass index (BMI) of at least 25! The proportion of overweight people therefore increases with age and is becoming more and more of a problem for society as a whole - if you consider the secondary conditions that are promoted by being overweight.

Causes for being overweight
Causes for emotional eating and weight gain
Why do people eat things that are not good for them and that lead to obesity, although they know exactly about the calorie count and possible consequences? On a cognitive level, it is clear to the vast majority of people what is healthy and what is not healthy for a body. But this is not the question. Often the causes of overweight and too many kilos lie in the unconscious link between food and emotion - emotional eating. The causes are often subconscious, which means that in certain situations those affected do not even realize that they are uncontrollably eating the whole packet of potato chips, even though they have long been full. Most then fail after an often years-long odyssey of countless diets, calorie counting and a vicious circle of guilt, despair and self-deprecation begins. The cause of emotional eating and obesity can be acute stress, old and entrenched beliefs, overwhelm and sometimes an unfulfilling life and dissatisfaction. Food can then understandably serve as a lifeline.
Consequences of being Overweight
What consequences can emotional eating and being overweight have?
The longer unfavorable patterns and behaviors in eating persist and remain untreated, the greater the suffering of those affected. Confidence and hope diminish, sufferers often become despondent about the situation and the cycle that seems impossible to break.
The consequences of emotional eating and being overweight include:
The consequences of emotional eating and being overweight include:
- It is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish physical hunger from emotional hunger.
- Decreasing self-confidence due to overweight and the feeling of not being able to change it.
- Increased feelings of insecurity and self-doubt can show up in private and professional life: psychosocial, somatic and economic consequences.
- Stress or excessive demands are increasingly compensated with food.
- Affected people often go through a variety of repetitive and different diets, which they often can only keep up for a short time.
- The yo-yo effect of short, intensive diets and the strong feeling of "Now I can do it" is followed by great dissatisfaction up to personal capitulation "Now it doesn't matter".
- Avoidance behavior of certain activities such as sports, swimming, or eating in front of others due to feelings of shame.
- Increased risk through "self-therapy or self-medication", through weight loss products.
- Despite weight loss attempts, weight stagnates or continues to increase.
Being overweight and secondary conditions
Psychologically, overweight is manifested by negative thoughts, dissatisfaction and pejorative feelings such as not being good enough. Very often it can be observed that people with excess weight are ashamed of their behavior, because the excess weight is the "problem" for all fellow men to see and begin to avoid more and more.
They often show signs and symptoms of depression as a secondary disease and physical impairments due to the increasing weight, such as increased load on the joints, heart and lower, physical resilience and mobility lead to exhaustion and inertia.

Physical and emotional hunger
Distinguishing between real hunger and emotional hunger
It is not always easy to distinguish between emotional hunger and real, physical hunger. People who tend to eat in stressful situations often lose their sense of when they are really hungry. They then describe a feeling of eating as a compulsion or feeling as if they are being controlled by others when they eat. In today's world, many hardly know the feeling of being really hungry, so that the stomach growls. The feeling of having to eat something immediately and not being able to hold out any longer is more likely to be manifested in emotional hunger, in which certain foods tend to be eaten: such as fatty foods or very sweet or very salty foods, for example chocolate, potato chips or ice cream. This ravenous appetite must then be satisfied immediately so that a feeling of well-being can be restored. Those affected also describe the desire to do something good for themselves. Therefore a normal, healthy meal is often not sufficient, but the desire for the certain food is there then also after a satiating meal. But the desire to do something good for oneself and is satisfied only briefly: quickly a bad conscience with self-reproaches creeps in. So it is important to learn again and to feel what the body really needs and when it needs something.
Weight loss hypnosis treatment
Hypnosis against emotional eating - end binge eating
The subconscious mind is used in hypnosis to ensure that the focus and inner direction is clearly in the direction you want: a feel-good weight, healthy food - healthy FOOD that is good for your body. It is "reprogrammed", because until now the subconscious mind reacted with food in different life situations: for example, in anger, frustration, dissatisfaction, loneliness or boredom. Low self-esteem can also lead to people reaching for food more and using this as a strategy for getting themselves back into a better state - "oh never mind, now I've already eaten too much anyway", this sentence is probably familiar to anyone struggling with weight. It creates a kind of cycle of relief and more well-being - positive feelings, but they only last a short time. But unfortunately, this better state lasts only a short time, because soon comes the bad conscience, disappointment, self-reproach and anger about yourself and your own behavior, rejection and the next cycle that pulls you down more and more begins. Comparable to an addiction, with emotional eating or even binge eating, it is important to stop these patterns. Hypnosis helps to dissolve these patterns of behavior and stop emotional eating. Hypnosis also helps break this negative cycle and re-create energy and motivation to change lifestyles. Thus, cravings disappear in the long term and sustainably and the reasons that led to excessive emotional eating and weight gain are processed.

The secret of weight loss through hypnosis
The secret of hypnosis lies in the work with the subconscious mind. It can be said that hypnosis is a very special method of treatment that works holistically, both on the psychological level and on the emotional level, as well as on the physical level. This means that with hypnosis you can address and deal with issues and blockages much faster, more effectively and, above all, more easily. The reasons why you have not been able to lose weight so far, or why you are gaining weight rather than losing it, can be treated and resolved with hypnosis. Blockages can be removed and the motivation and goals can be tackled with much more strength and power after hypnosis. Disruptive behaviors and habits can be uncovered and reversed into helpful and healthier behaviors and lifestyles. In this way, you can leave hypnosis stronger and more easily and focused on your desired weight in mind and achieve.
Who is most likely to benefit from weight loss hypnosis?
Anyone who can recognize themselves in the following: People with slight or severe overweight, people who have strong desire or even cravings for sweets. Others have a strong desire or craving for fatty foods. People who often eat too quickly and have forgotten the pleasure, the real proper enjoyment of food. People who have strong cravings for food, for example, when they are stressed, angry or sad. People who have binge eating or binge eating episodes. People who think about food all the time. Some people do not feel full and have completely forgotten when they are really full. Still other people reward themselves with food when they are frustrated or stressed. Hypnosis can help you make it easier for them to lose weight and put aside the sweets. The strong feeling and craving for sweets can decrease and become less and less. At the same time, the desire for healthy food increases and so you can become lighter and lighter with a better feeling and with a better body feeling and thus live a balanced and relaxed life. Important for losing weight with hypnosis is that you really want it and that you bring the motivation to do the weight reduction not only for a partner. Think in advance what you want to achieve with hypnosis, what your dream or desired weight is, with what weight you would feel really comfortable again.
How fast can I lose weight with hypnosis?
The effect of hypnosis begins with the first session. How, and especially how fast you lose weight through hypnosis depends on various factors and is completely individual. First of all, it depends on how old you are, what experiences you have already had, how much you like to exercise and how willing you are to change things in your life. As a rule, my clients lose a lot of weight in the first few weeks. The majority of my clients have the desire to lose at least 25 kg or more. After hypnosis, many often describe that it was much easier for them to give up sweets and that they regularly exercised with short walks. Central for them was eating healthier. After hypnosis, many of my clients easily give up the so-called fatteners such as sweets, chocolate and cakes or white flour products. Since the renunciation does not bother them any more, the kilos tumble particularly in the first weeks and they can see fast also a clear result on the balance. Losing weight is easier for them and they have more and more the feeling that they can decide for themselves without being tempted by cravings or sweets. They often don't even notice the change - unlike their partner or children, who notice relatively quickly that something has changed.
