Fear of flying symptoms
How to recognize the fear of flying
Fear of flying rarely describes only the fear of flying. Quite often it turns out that in addition to the fear of flying, other fears play a role in the combination such as the fear of loss of control (agoraphobia), fear of heights / fear of heights or the fear of being trapped. Thus, fear of flying (aviophobia) is a conglomerate of different fears. Among the most important are fear of loss of control (agoraphobia), fear of heights (acrophobia), and fear of being confined (cleithrophobia).

Again and again, sufferers describe a paralyzing feeling: Worryful thoughts in consideration of the next flight, fear of failure, the fear of fear on the plane increases, so that many sufferers avoid and use more and more avoidance strategies. Avoidance strategies can be fatal because they have a tendency to spread to other areas of life and become chronic. Treat fear of flying (aviophobia) symptoms with hypnosis
My many years of experience with hypnosis for fear of flying shows that often just a few sessions are enough for fear of flying: From great fear and often years of refusing to fly, relaxed air travel becomes possible again or even for the first time. A large proportion of my clients who come to my hypnosis practice with fear of flying already have many years of experience with fear behind them: many of them flew quite naturally and naturally for many years until suddenly the fear of flying was there. This is often incomprehensible to many and can be very limiting in life for themselves and often also for their families. The fear of flying leads many people to avoid flights altogether or to fly under strong pressure, tension and fear, which is often only possible with the administration of medication. On the other hand, there are many sufferers who have never flown before and desire to visit distant destinations or move up the career ladder, which often involves air travel. Hypnosis can help you travel to dream beaches or take off professionally when this calls for air travel. The results of current research show that hypnotherapy can quickly and effectively help you overcome your fear of flying. I use the same procedures and techniques that have been proven many times over for other fears. At the same time, I find out what your personal fear of flying is like. Are you afraid of giving up control or are you afraid of heights? Is it the political situation that worries you, the threat of terror? Maybe you just don't trust the designers? Whatever it is, I work individually to ensure that each sufferer receives the treatment they need to overcome their fear of flying.

Fear of flying causes
Causes for the fear of flying
Common causes of fear of flying are the feeling of being at the mercy of others, fear of take-off and landing, and fear of turbulence. Recently, the fear of terror has been added and is assuming threatening proportions. Fear of flying (aviophobia) is related to claustrophobia, the fear of being indoors, and is one of the specific phobias. Fear of flying also arises from fear of losing self-control or control of the situation, or simply from fear of heights. People with fear of flying usually respond particularly well to hypnotherapy. The fear of flying is noticeably reduced, you can enjoy traveling and flying, feel freer and thus lose many changed fears in the course of time. Because once you have experienced that you can overcome a phobia, you will never let a fear restrict you again.

Fear of flying hypnosis treatment
Treating the Fear of Flying (Aviophobia) with Hypnosis
Fear of flying (aviophobia) is a conglomeration of different fears. Among the most important are the fear of loss of control (agoraphobia), the fear of heights (acrophobia) and the fear of being locked up (cleithrophobia) - all these fears belong to the typical phobias that have been known for centuries in medicine and psychology. Especially with these phobias "[hypnotherapy] can be considered an effective to highly effective procedure [...]", according to Dr. biol. hum. Erich Flammer in the 2006 study on the effectiveness of hypnotherapy for anxiety disorders. Under hypnosis you learn to know the essence of your anxiety and to deal with it in a new way. You recognize the cycle between the actual feeling, the emotional entanglement and the avoidance behavior, which ultimately only leads to more fear. This leads to a readjustment and a different way of dealing with it. The fear is therefore not simply "made to go away", but is completely penetrated and replaced by a different behavior appropriate to the situation.
Hypnotherapy for the fear of flying
No, hypnosis is not a remedy for fear of flying, of course. Hypnosis is a recognized remedy for any fear. That is why hypnosis Berlin is so effective against fear of flying, because fear of flying is a phobia that is composed of many different fears. Hypnosis starts where the fear does not yet have a name. In the hypnotic trance you have the possibility to look at your emotions without reacting to them. As it were, as if you were able to watch yourself from the outside. This alone allows you to practice a different way of dealing with anxiety. The effectiveness of hypnosis for anxiety disorders and phobias has been sufficiently verified. Thus Dr. biol. hum. Erich Flammer, in his 2006 study on the effectiveness of hypnotherapy for anxiety disorders, states, "Of patients treated with hypnosis, 73.5% experienced improvement in their symptoms, compared to 26.4% of patients in a waiting control condition." Here, the "number of therapy sessions [...] did not significantly influence the treatment outcome," Flammer said.
Hypnosis helps you gain control over your mental and physical states
Through special and highly effective techniques, you gain control to influence yourself physically and mentally. Suggestions are linked in the subconscious mind during hypnotic trance. Through the hypnotic state and deep trance, posthypnotic suggestions are anchored and in this way an establishment of the state is created. The combination of hypnosis and techniques for self-hypnosis allow you to prepare yourself in the best possible way between hypnosis sessions and to enter the trance faster and easier with each trance. Experience shows that the best possible results are achieved in this way and, above all, lasting positive changes have been made in the lives of many former sufferers.
This is how hypnotherapy treats aviophobia
- NEURONAL TIEF RELAXATION
allows your organism to effectively and intensively deal with internal blockages and the fear of flying during the hypnotic trance. - WITH ANXIETY AND PANIC WHEN FLYING.
dissociation is helpful. For helpful coping, imagery and positive anchors are used to change fearful situations. By detaching from fear, dealing with fear of flying and the experience of flying can be significantly improved and the intensity of anxiety can be reduced while overcoming fears. See the following link for even more information on hypnosis for panic attacks and panic disorder. - The POTENTIAL OF SELF INFLUENCE
is activated again or anew. Thus, the control over one's own body and mental strength is clearly and sustainably triggered. Through various techniques such as posthypnotic anchors, you are given the opportunity to return to a state of active self-control between sessions. - HYPNO-THERAPEUTIC INTERVETNIONS CAN SOLVE INNER ANXIETIES AND DREAMING EXPERIENCES
and thus relieve the soul and organism. In the hypnotic trance new experiences can lead to a reorientation, development and maturation of the soul and overall to a new way of dealing with fear of flying and flying. - TARGETS AND FLIGHTS
can be sustainably processed and visualized in hypnosis, so you are actively prepared for your next flight in the best possible way. - BLOCKADES LIKE FEAR AND SHAME
can be solved and transformed.

Hypnosis Berlin shows you how you can get on a plane in the future without pills and without fear. You will enjoy the flight, be able to feel safe again, perhaps take beautiful photos above the clouds and above all arrive rested and completely clear at your flight destination. With Hypnosis Berlin you will overcome your fear of flying permanently. Try it out and enjoy the new freedom that overcoming your fear gives you.
How can I tell if I have overcome my fear after hypnosis?
An airplane is a means of transportation like any other. If you get on an airplane like you would get on a bus or a train, you no longer have a fear of flying. But typical fear of flying begins before the flight, in fact even before planning a trip. It manifests itself in the consistent avoidance of flights, for example, by considering only destinations that can be reached by car or train. As soon as you begin to think of a flight as an option for transportation, your fear of flying dwindles. Now you should reward your "Brodmann area," the area in your brain responsible for courage, and actually book a flight. You'll notice how the queasy feeling you're likely to have hides a joyful excitement. Similar to a slight tingle, the anticipation of your courage. Maybe your legs will still shake a little on the way to the plane. But you've learned not to be afraid of fear anymore. So your first fear-free flight begins relaxed, without a stomachache and without clammy hands.
Should I conquer my fear through hypnosis or a fear-of-flying course?
A number of providers, especially the major airlines offer fear of flying seminars. These effective and quite expensive seminars are very well attended and usually have a long waiting time. Typically, these seminars are group seminars that use behavioral therapy methods. You learn about airplanes and statistics, you are given tools to calm your anxiety, and you have a series of discussions with the participants and the therapists. The success rate of these seminars is remarkable. The focus of these seminars is especially on facts and knowledge about certain mechanisms and processes in flying. It therefore serves cognitive learning and awareness. The difficulty of such a seminar is that many people are already consciously aware of the fact that an airplane is one of the safest means of transportation. This conscious knowledge helps some people to overcome their fears, but not all. For all others, the work with the unconscious with hypnosis is available. So that part, the side may calm down when flying, which, although it knows all the facts, reacted with fear. Hypnotherapy for fear of flying is about you. You get to know your fears, find out where the fear comes from and how to best face your personal fear. This will not only have a positive impact on your fear of flying, but also on your entire life. It's less about the facts of an airplane, and instead about changing your behavior. Hypnosis heals old, which may have caused you to feel fear in certain situations today.
Fear of flying in children - child hypnosis helps
If your child has a fear of flying, they won't miss meetings, they won't lose career opportunities, and they won't blow a honeymoon yet. If your child has a fear of flying, then only the family vacation is affected - and that may not be so bad. Maybe you have a little fear of flying, too. Maybe you have such thoughts every now and then but beware! Fear of flying in children is anything but a trifle. It is the beginning of an ever-growing career of fear. The fear of flying leads to the fear of heights, which leads to the fear of falling, which leads to the fear of fear. Thus one phobia gives birth to the next and the earlier a person starts with the fears, the stronger they will influence his further life. That is why it is even more important to fight against the fear of flying in children than in adults. There is another aspect why it is important to fight your child's fear of flying with hypnosis. This is the future, which is becoming more and more mobile. After all, your daughter/son should one day become a free, self-determined adult. Hypnosis helps your child out of the fear of flying.
