Alpha state
Active brain waves lead to an awake and concentrated state, while slowly vibrating brain waves lead to a person being relaxed. The different vibration densities are divided in science into gamma, beta, alpha, delta and theta waves. Alpha waves are rather slow, which means that the brain is in a calm state. Here, the person is receptive and relaxed, and is also less critical. For the alpha state, however, no hypnosis or trance is required, here a short closing of the eyes or relaxed leaning back is already enough.
