Bodyscan
Bodyscan is a mindfulness exercise in which attention is gradually directed to the different areas of the body. One's own body is scanned mentally, so to speak, and the goal is to do this in an appreciative and accepting attitude. It is perfectly normal that unpleasant thoughts and sensations arise at the beginning, but with time the exercise should take place in a more value-free way and the natural urge to want to divide everything into good or bad should be resisted. Hypnosis is also about noticing and feeling your own body.
