This is a technique that can be used in hypnosis. The catathyme imagery goes back to Hanscarl Leuner. The core of this method is a relaxed dialogue about certain basic motives. These can be a meadow, the sea, a mountain or a stream. By talking about these images in hypnosis, current issues are to be traced and worked towards their resolution.
