Embodiment
Embodiment means embodiment in German and describes that the mind is always in relation to the whole body. The spirit includes our mind, our thinking, our cognitive system as well as our psyche and of course its organs - the brain. The body and mind are integrated with the rest of the environment and without this embedding, the brain and mind could not function. Embodiment research explores the interactions, for example, how certain postures affect mental and emotional well-being. In any case, it is assumed that body and mind are one and cannot be separated. This is also relevant for hypnosis, because in it it is a matter of focusing attention on inner involuntary processes, which also always affect body and mind. These determine to a large extent how we as humans experience and act in our environment and how we interact.
