Eye Catalepsy
Ocular catalepsy is induced by the so-called fixation technique. This can trigger eyelid closure and, under certain circumstances, eye catalepsy. For this purpose, the therapist asks the client to choose a certain point in the room and fixate it with his eyes. At first, the eyes focus on this point, and then they automatically become unfocused. In addition, the eyelids inevitably become heavy and tired, which leads to a closing reflex of the eyelids. Under this condition, the trance can enter more quickly and the way to the subconscious mind is opened. That's where hypnosis can really kick in.
