Schmidt, Dr. Gunther

Dr. Gunther Schmidt is considered the pioneer of hypnotherapy and systemic therapy in Germany and the combination of both in hypnosystemic work. From these two therapy methods he developed the so-called hypnosystemic approach. In 1986 he established the Milton Erickson Institute in Heidelberg, where he still passes on his hypnosystemic approach in the form of seminars. He is also the author of several books dealing with hypnosis, more specifically hypnosystemic counseling. In 2007 he founded the sysTelios clinic together with Carsten Till and Mechthild Reinhard.
