Heart Rate Variability
The term heart rate variability (HRV) seems to be very present at the moment. Especially those who are interested in their health, performance and recovery are interested in it. Actually, this phenomenon is not particularly new, but it has received a boost due to the use of wearables and similar fitness devices. HRV involves measuring the time interval between two consecutive heartbeats, and the whole thing is expressed in milliseconds. If a heart is healthy and in normal condition, it beats unevenly and there are constant variations between the two heartbeats. The whole thing can be understood as a kind of biofeedback, which gives the client information about his health condition and the corresponding influencing factors. The measurement of heart rate variability or the knowledge about it can also be integrated into hypnosis.
