Hemisphere, right

The hemisphere is more commonly known as one of the two halves of the Earth created by the center of the Earth. Literally translated, the term means "hemisphere." In medicine, however, it refers to one half of the brain. Our brain is divided into the left and right hemispheres. The right hemisphere is mainly responsible for the functions of body language and imagery as well as for intuition, creative, holistic connections and spatial perception. Under hypnosis, neuronal activities in both hemispheres of the brain could be detected.
