Hypnodrama is a variation of psychodrama with an introductory hypnosis. In hypnodrama, trance-like phenomena of the
staged active awake hypnosis are used so that a warming up can be achieved in the psychodrama more precisely a deeper experience and a higher spontaneity. However, hypnodrama is also used beyond the stage, namely in psychotherapy or hypnotherapy. It can provide greater insight into the client's previously opaque conflict system. In the course of hypnosis sessions, this can eventually lead to acceptance of the situation of a new perspective through catharsis.
