Intervention
(Acute) interventions describe an immediate interruption of a pattern or situation, an immediate therapeutic intervention to help the client and free him from his current distress. Also in hypnosis, various interventions are used in the client's mind to create new experiences and initiate change processes. This is the case, for example, when memories that are too stressful are to be processed or when a change is to be made from an unhelpful state to a more helpful one. In short, the client should feel better. An intervention is thus used so that the client can come closer to his previously agreed and known goal.
