Pattern Interrupt
Pattern Interrupt or Pattern Interruption means as much as pattern interruption. It is a type of change work which goes back to Milton Ericson. In essence, it is about replacing unwanted patterns with new alternative patterns. In hypnosis or even coaching, this interruption is approached in a variety of ways, such as unexpected words and comments or unpredictable behavior. The best known example is the Milton handshake.
