Robert Dilts is an author and trainer for neuro-linguistic programming, the well-known NLP, which includes communication techniques and is often used in training, coaching and consulting. Robert Dilts was part of the working group around founders John Grinder and Richard Bandler. Like Grinder and Bandler, Robert Dilts learned directly from the founder of hypnotherapy, Milton H. Erickson, and from anthropologist Gregory Bateson. Dilts developed a combination of systemic therapy and NLP. The NLP allergy format, Dilt's pyramid, the meta-mirror, the concept of S.C.O.R.E., logical levels and re-imprinting also go back to him. Methods developed by Dilts are also widely used today in the field of hypnosis - for personal development and change on various levels.
