Rolling Stone Effect
The Rolling Stone Effect means something like "getting a stone rolling" and in relation to hypnosis refers to phenomena that occur after hypnosis. In the days and even nights after a hypnosis experience, people repeatedly show images, emotions and memories from hypnosis. Images that come from the subconscious mind and are present and processed in both the waking and sleeping states. Hypnosis provides the decisive impulse for this process, which has set the ball rolling in such a way. The change has begun with it. The "rolling stone effect" shows up in people quite individually and makes clear how much is happening in one and what hypnosis is moving.
